Please allow up to Forty-Eight (48) hours for our response time.
To secure bookings with us, as well as optimal selection and the best possible service, we request that orders are fully confirmed at least Ten (10) business days out from the contracted event date. We understand events and changes arise unexpectedly, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs based on availability and event parameters. Please account for lead times, as well as additional time for any requests or revisions, and note that we are closed on weekends and all federally observed holidays. We require order minimums of $250 for weekday events, $500 for Saturday events, and $1000 for Sunday events. Off-campus (SJSU) catering outside of a 3-mile radius will incur a $75 fee.
To ensure that we can accommodate any changes to your order, please notify us a minimum of Ten (10) business days in advance of the event. This includes but is not limited to guest count, dietary and allergen meal requests, china and rental needs. Any changes made within Eight (8) business days of the event are subject to penalty fees. Any cancellations made within Eight (8) business days of the event will be subject to pay 50% of the invoice amount, and 100% if made within Seventy-Two (72) hours.
To guarantee service, a valid credit card with sufficient funds OR your department’s chart-string number if paying by check, must be provided at least Eight (8) business days prior to the event. We ask that contracts be paid in full at the conclusion of the event.
All orders are subject to a 20% service fee and 9.375% sales tax. For tax-exemptions, please notify us in advance, and ensure all required forms are filled out and provided.
Please reserve all non-food related equipment by contacting the appropriate SJSU Department. This will include room reservation, set and room configuration, audio visual and other general information. Clients should also arrange for any trash or recycling needs.
All disposable serviceware will be supplied as accompaniment to all items purchased. We provide high quality, disposable plastic ware. For any china rental, please contact our sales manager for assistance.
Black 85x85 tablecloths are supplied for all Spartan Eats Catering food and beverage service tables at events. Tablecloths for non-food tables, as well as specialty linens, can be rented through us. For best selection and availability, we recommend reaching out at least a month in advance, and confirm your request Ten (10) business days in advance.
Special diets are accommodated upon request. Please confirm all dietary and allergen meal needs Ten (10) business days from your event.
